Creation of ASCPaLM

The 7th Asian Conference of Clinical Pathology was successfully held on December 6-8, 2002 at Hi-Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, with about 190 participants from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Mongolia and others. Asian Liaison Committee of President (ALCP) was also held there, and a pending issue was resolved to create a new Asian meeting under the name specified as The Asian Society for Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (ASCPaLM).

ASCPaLM was inaugurated on December 7, 2002 with following officers:
