Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology 2010 will be in Rio de Janeiro

The 44th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine will be 14 to 17 September 2010 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.The main theme of event is "Laboratory Medicine - From conception to old age".

The congress is held by the Brazilian Society for Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine - SBPC / ML (www.sbpc.org.br), a scientific society with more than 65 years of tradition in the field of laboratory medicine.

The scientific program consists of topics of high scientific importance, for the education and updating of professionals on laboratory testing.

The lecturers are renowned experts from Brazil, Latin America and Europe. Some lectures will be delivered or translated into Spanish.

Among the areas of knowledge covered in the congress are molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, laboratory management, hematology, hormones, infectious diseases, immunology, microbiology, quality, parasitology, pediatrics, rheumatology, and urinalysis, among others.

Simultaneously with the congress happens the Technical-scientific Exposition, which includes over 100 companies from Brazil and other countries that will present equipments, products and services for clinical laboratories.

The 44th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine will bring together about 5000 people between professionals and students.
