World Health Day 7 April 2006

World Health Organization is making human resources for health the focus of World Health Day 2006. This is also the subject of The World Health Report 2006, which will be launched on the same.

The slogan for World Health Day is: “Working together for Health”. This work, and challenges such as the migration of health workers, demand partnership and cooperation within countries and across the world.

In addition to launching The World Health report 2006 on World Health day, WHO is working together to ensure that World Health Day celebrations will include hundreds of events around the globe.
